Enjoyed 'Quitting Time'. It reminds me of some of the conversations that I've had with my parents!Lloyd A. Green      5/29/17 2:43 PM
I just read your chapter on "Falling." It was quick, to the point, a little comical and thought provoking. A quick, insightful look into a life-changing moment. Thanks.Ibrahim Oga      5/15/17 11:05 AM
Well my friend, I think the elephant is here to stay. Lol. I'm loving every piece.Ibrahim Oga      2/25/17 10:54 AM
Great series my friend. Enjoying every piece as I try to catch up.Ibrahim Oga      2/25/17 10:52 AM
With AJ, I think it's best to stay floating in the uncle waters. Lol.Briana Bryon      2/10/17 6:03 AM
I bought a book today and I instantly thought of your character. It's called "from here to paternity." By Matt Dunn. It might give you some ideas/inspiration. 'Wills journey to paternity is a hilarious eomp through the pitfalls of procration.' Just a thought. ☺Briana Bryon      2/02/17 4:59 AM
"Troubled Waters" - another great peice! On another note, I'm devestated that you chose to remind people your column is fictional. I chose not to believe this, I love your dude so much! So I've decided it's only fiction if you don't believe it. Omg, somebody write that down, that's brilliant!Briana Bryon      1/10/17 6:29 PM
"Another gift" is one of your best ones!Lloyd A. Green      11/02/16 8:57 PM
Your stories are always good for a chuckle. I'm finally up to date and looking for more. Thanks.Angel Ramon      10/16/16 8:15 PM
I haven't had the chance to read your series for a while, but I finally got to reading it and once more you managed to make me laugh. Good job like always!Lloyd A. Green      9/28/16 10:04 PM
Great real-life comedy. You can't make this stuff up. Always looking forward to the next. LloydDebbie Pinkham      9/22/16 5:33 PM
I always love the way you end these, Bill. I usually have my mouth hanging open waiting for the rest of the thought and the other half doesn't come and it's just so funny. It's great! Love it, love it!Angel Ramon      8/01/16 3:47 AM
Bill McStove you continue to make me laugh! You need to be a comedian my dude, god I haven't laugh so hard in ages. I can't even write something this funny if I tried. Cheers!Devan Burton      7/23/16 5:10 PM
Bill McStowe, I am really enjoying your series. Your work is both thoughtful and engaging. I look forward to reading more of your work. Keep writing!Sandra Robinson      7/16/16 7:46 PM

I look forward to your stories! You make me laugh lol. I have my dad, who is suffering from Stage 4 metastatic pancreatic cancer, read your stories to make him laugh. Thank you!Angel Ramon      7/08/16 8:39 PM
Lol Who would had thought the darkest place on earth was a strip mall. Man my book is too literal with darkness. Funny as hell!Dan Fecht      7/07/16 11:56 AM
Our hero will be really cool if he took the sushi crowd out for kimbap (It's Korean sushi and its in TREND right now) He might get some phone #'s for once. Always a funny morning read!Briana Bryon      7/06/16 9:03 AM
Please tell me you are writing a book? Or putting these columns into a book? If not, you should really add it to your list of things to do.Angel Ramon      7/06/16 2:21 AM
I got a chance to keep reading your book and it just gets funnier and funnier. Especially where you have to carve the turkey! Never knew it was so important. Anyway it's a nice fun read so far!Angel Ramon      6/22/16 2:58 PM
I started to read it and it sounds promising so far! I'm going to read more but I got two deadlines to meet first one with a short story contest and the second with my second novel. But it sounds good so far. Happy for you!Sandra Robinson      6/15/16 1:21 PM
Congratulations!!Sandra Robinson      5/28/16 5:37 PM
I love how your sister tells you women are manipulative then turns around and manipulates you. Lol.Sandra Robinson      5/19/16 9:44 PM
Lol. That was funny that she hyped up the book to sound like a masterpiece and you hated it. Good.Maggie John      5/12/16 3:36 PM
"So Lucky" - This resonated with me much too strongly. I don't eat a lot of turkey sandwiches though; I eat a lot of spaghetti.Lloyd A. Green      4/28/16 2:27 AM
Funny and creepy about your on-line date. I've got to disagree with you and Heather about the the potential success through this process though. I've met a couple of dingbats on-line but after about five months, I found the love of my life and we've been together for eleven years and still counting. On-line dating is just another way for people to meet each other.Dan Fecht      4/18/16 2:55 AM
I thoroughly enjoy your visits to the grocery store. After considering, I realize that your best bet at finding love is, as a matter of fact, at your grocery store. Tell her you'll cook for her. See if she likes your idea of a boxed dinner. Could be love. -That's my advice and I'm sticking to itHeather Awad      4/16/16 1:41 PM
Yeah, online dating... STAY AWAY! Lol!Maggie John      4/14/16 1:07 PM
"They're Out There" -- I was crying laughing. Let me know if you try/how it goes with the online dating! Remember, if a woman calls you a "solid, solid six," get the heck out of dodge.Heather Awad      4/10/16 1:20 PM
Last Snow - so funny! Kids today are wimps! LolLloyd A. Green      4/09/16 3:54 PM
Bad Bunnies was hilarious. Thanks for that one. Grown men can be the biggest kids. LloydMaggie John      3/31/16 1:27 PM
Laughed out loud at "Bad Bunnies." So good!Lloyd A. Green      3/29/16 5:17 PM

Re: Promises, promises Sounds worse than my last date. And that's saying a lot. I met this guy a local diner close to my house. He had his service dog with him. "He helps me with my PTSD," he says. "He gets between me and other people so no one gets hurt. So don't worry. I'm perfectly safe." True story.Heather Awad      1/20/16 2:37 AM
"Promises, Promises" OMG! I swear I thought she was going to ask you to pay for all of it. Like she forgot her money in her gym locker! Haha! Loved it!Heather Awad      1/13/16 4:53 PM
A month in... It couldn't have been the picture of his parents... Nah, that couldn't be it. ;-)B. R. Turnage      1/13/16 11:54 AM

Mothers always seem to say exactly what you don't want to hear. And zero offense, but I'm so over Meatball... oh, I mean Meatloaf. Haha! 😉Debbie Pinkham      12/20/15 3:40 PM
I am sooooo loving this The "soooooooo" was dragged out on purpose. lol You are a very talented writer. I will be following this for a long time.Heather Awad      12/16/15 2:03 PM
As funny as you are, I can't imagine your "second date" shirts aren't getting any action. ;-)Bill McStowe      12/09/15 9:17 PM
Haha...I love the comments! However, I want want to be clear. This is a fictional account. In fact, I had never even heard of Thanksgiving until I Googled "reasons to slice meat."Heather Awad      12/09/15 4:25 AM
Too funny! And I bet it happened just like that. Yeah, I would have been lost at crosswise. I only slice tofu lengthwise! ;-)Carol Anne Shaw      12/09/15 3:42 AM
Heh heh...enjoyed your recent Thanksgiving post. What IS it about guys and carving meat? I guess it's a primal thing. Great White Hunter, and all. I just sit back at the table with my glass of plonk and get smashed at most family events. Good stuff!Heather Awad      12/02/15 3:52 AM
I like the latest a lot. I couldn't quite tell if there was a little sarcasm at the very end. I'm guessing, yes? It all makes a difference! A for effort! ;-)ruthibelle ja      11/26/15 10:38 PM
So funny!! But simple and relatable. I'm loving this series TONS! Great writing style. Great stories.Carol Anne Shaw      11/07/15 5:27 AM
I've read them all, and shall now await the next post with bated breath. (Three guys scratching...I feel as though I just did two-hundred sit-ups)Carol Anne Shaw      11/07/15 4:29 AM

Hopefully, the free bagels will come back. I am enjoying this series!
